The 2013 Fusion appears with a sleek looking high tech sedan. Its body is a bold departure from the Fusion at the current. The new Ford also showcases the new design language for the Ford brand moving forward. This new design obviously takes inspiration from the EVOS concept car at the Geneva Show and is influenced from Aston Martin’s grill and lights.

The 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid will be available with a 1.6-liter gasoline "Ecoboost" engine. It is estimated that the 1.6-liter will produce 179 horsepower and the 2-liter 237 horsepower. The engine of the car will be the first automatic stop-start system of Ford that shuts off the power when the car stops and restarts it when the driver releases the brake pedal. This really helps the car reduce fuel consumption.

Although the official price of the 2013 Ford Fusion has not been unveiled yet, Ford Americas President Mark Fields said on the first day of the Detroit Auto Show that the car will have a base price close to the current Fusion, which starts at $20,200.
