“Sam & Cat” starlet Ariana Grande was photographed arriving at the 2013 American Music Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday night (November 24). The newcomer to the crowded pop scene stole the show in a glittering red Dolce & Gabbana strapless dress while walking the red carpet. She teamed her maroon floor-length sparking gown with a pair of Sergio Rossi shoes and accessorized with Tacori jewels. Ariana Grande also carried a clutch by Jimmy Choo and wore her usual freshly curled ponytail extension to complete her appearance at the ceremony.
After posing for cameras and her hundreds of screaming fans, the “Way” songstress took to the stage to perform a vocally impeccable rendition of her song "Tattooed Heart” on the ABC broadcast. Miss Grande even made her debut AMA appearance more memorable as she won New Artist of the Year, beating out fellow newcomers Phillip Phillips, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Florida Georgia Line.
"Oh my God! I'm so nervous," Ariana Grande said when she picked up the award. "Thank you so much. This is for my fans. I have the most loving and supportive fans in the world, and I love them so much. I'm so nervous ... This is crazy. I love you. Thank you."
