Barack Obama Shows Off New Bus On Three-day Tour of Midwest

in Society

The US leader Barack Obama took to the road on a bus tour of the U.S. Midwest on Monday, August 15, 2011 to focus on job growth and distance himself from anger toward Washington that could damage his 2012 re-election hopes. The president's tour started in Minnesota, continued going through to Iowa, and ended in Illinois. In 2008, Barack Obama won all three states in the presidential election. Mr. Obama hit these three states by a shiny, black armored bus with darkened windows and red and blue flashing lights, but not the Cadillac One, which is called “the beast”. Here are some of the most impressive images about the bus during the three-day economic bus tour of the current U.S. President:

This shiny, black armoured bus is also equipped with secret communications technology, with flashing police-style red and blue lights on the front and the back.
