Amy Winehouse, one of the most talented singer-songwriters of her generation, died on Saturday afternoon, July 23, 2011 at the age of 27. She was found dead at her Camden Square apartment in London, England but the police have not yet discovered the cause of death. Many sources claimed that Amy Winehouse lost her life due to drugs overdose.
The award-winning artist, who was best-known for her hit “Rehab” and album “Back to Black” with a lot of Grammy Awards in 2006, had a long battle with drink and drugs problem during her career.
Last month, the “Frank” star had to cancel all of European tour dates and engagements after being booed off stage in Serbia because she was reportedly too drunk to perform.

"Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives." her family issued the statement one day after Amy Winehouse’s untimely death. Her father Mitch flew from New York City, where he had been due to perform at the Blue Note jazz club, to be with his daughter as well as support his wife Janis and his son Alex.

One of Amy Winehouse’s best friend, singer and actress Kelly Osbourne, felt very hurt as hearing the shocking news. “I can’t even breath right now. I’m crying so hard. I just lost one of my best friends. I love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!" the 26-year-old tweeted.
