Arsenal has recently announced that it has agreed on a deal with Barcelona for the transfer of the 24-year-old midfielder Cesc Fabregas to the Camp Nou. Barcelona has also confirmed the deal. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisted that Barcelona was able to sign Cesc Fabregas on the cheap because Cesc Fabregas wasn't willing to join any other club. Mr. Wenger also said that the club didn’t want to lose Fabregas.
The midfielder finally completed his dream return to Barcelona for the European champions on Monday August 15, 2011. According to Spanish media reports, Cesc Fabregas transfer fee is at around $57 million.

He also shared that he owed everything to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. “Wenger was like a father to me”, "He did so much for me and without him I wouldn’t be here now”, and “he is the best person I have met in football.” said Fabregas.
