Effective Ways Celebrities Save Mother Earth

Building green, affordable houses, owning hybrid cars, using reusable bags and water bottles, and designing earth-friendly clothing lines are effective ways some celebrities save Mother Earth.

Brad Pitt

After Hurricane Katrina hit Brad Pitt’s adopted hometown New Orleans, the Hollywood actor had set up the Make It Right Foundation to raise more funds for constructing 150 green, affordable homes in Lower Ninth Ward, which was struck most severely by the storm.

The Make It Right was dubbed by the U.S. Green Building Council as the world’s greenest community of single-family homes thanks to energy efficiency and sustainability of the houses.
