With the aim of honoring the best athletes from around the world over the past calendar year, the annual ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on July 13, 2011 with SNL's Seth Meyers hosting.
There were plenty of Hollywood stars attending ESPN's annual ESPY Awards on Wednesday night July 13, 2011 as celebrity presenters included Justin Bieber, who was side by side by girlfriend Selena Gomez, along with some big names such as Justin Timberlake, Kendra Wilkinson, Brooklyn Decker, Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.
The Dallas Mavericks came out as the big winners of the night, as the NBA Champions took home Best Team title while Rick Carlisle was honored as Best Coach and Dirk Nowitzki was also the big winner with two awards including Best NBA Player and Best Male Athlete trophies. The skier Lindsey Vonn was named Best Female Athlete while another big winner was Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay, as he won Best MLB Player and Best Moment.
