Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain issued a preemptive denial on Monday, November 28, 2011 for the claims by a Georgia woman named Ginger White that she had a long extramarital relationship with him, exactly 13-year affair.
According to Ginger White, she met presidential hopeful Herman Cain in the late 90s in Louisville, Kentucky, when as president of the National Restaurant Association. At that time, he made a presentation that she was impressed. They shared drinks afterwards and he invited her back to his hotel room. Their long-time relationship began at that time and Herman Cain lavished her with gifts. The Georgia woman also revealed that they stayed together at a luxury hotel in Atlanta, emphasizing that he had never mistreated her in any way. On the other words, Herman never harassed her or treated her poorly although their physical relationship ended eight months ago, just before Cain announced his candidacy for president running 2012. "It was pretty simple," Ginger White told Atlanta's Fox 5 television on Monday. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship." In that interview, Ginger White shared cell phone records that showed repeated calls and text messages from a number she said belongs to the presidential contender.

Herman Cain who lives in suburban Atlanta told CNN's "The Situation Room" that her assertion was coming and would be false: "It is someone that I know who is an acquaintance that I thought was a friend," Cain said. But he added, "I did not have an affair."
