The multi-talented star Justin Timberlake accepted a servicewoman's invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball with Corporal Kelsey De Santis in Richmond, VA on Saturday, November 12, 2011. In fact, Justin Timberlake is a man of his word as fulfilling the promise he made in July to come this event. The actor promised to be at the event after Corporal Kelsey De Santis asked him in a YouTube video back in July. Before that, his "Friends With Benefits" costar Mila Kunis got an invitation to be a guest at the Marine Corps Ball. She said in the clip: "If you can't go, all I have to say is cry me a river! Hit me up." Interestingly, De Santis shared she did not think he would be able to keep up with her group of people and didn’t think he would be able to keep up with them.
The "In Time" star Justin Timberlake looked dapper in a black tuxedo to the event and was picked up at his hotel by Corporal de Santis, who was wearing her Marine Corps dress uniform is the only female at the Martial Arts Center for Excellence (MACE) at Marine Corps Base Quantico. At a Cancun press conference this summer, when asked whether he intended to present at Marine Corps Ball, Timberlake said yes. "But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love," he said. "And not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to try to intimidate me -- although that probably would have worked by itself. I don't get asked out ever! So I was very flattered by that."
