The winner Lisa D'Amato, the 30-year-old who previously appeared on Top Model's fifth season was set to receive a spread in Vogue Italia, the cover of and a spread in Beauty in Vogue, a blog on Vogue.it and a US$100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics. Lisa D'Amato told America's Next Top Model's judges after her victory was announced during Wednesday night's broadcast of The CW reality competition's seventeenth-season finale: "It's so weird. I don't even know what to do. I just think that this is amazing and I'm not going to let any one of you down that's for sure -- none of you,"
Talking about her winning the title on The CW show, 31-year-old Lisa D'Amato said she felt the doe-eyed darling was her biggest competition all season long. However, Lisa D'Amato did not actually know what happened with finalist Angelea Preston who was disqualified on the finale with no explanation given.
