Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Mazza broke the happy news that they are going to have a second child on Tuesday (February 19, 2013). The baby announcement was made on Lopez's entertainment TV show “Extra”, which tapes daily at the Grove in Los Angeles. His 2-year-old daughter Gia Francesca was so excited about her new role that she was seen wearing a T-shirt saying "Big Sister Gia." “I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives,” the television personality said on his show. The X Factor USA host also posted a picture of himself and his adorable firstborn, Gia on his Twitter with the caption: “Congratulations Gia on your big news!!! You're gonna be an awesome big sister...” Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza got married in December, 2012 at a friend’s house in Punta Mita, Mexico. The wedding featured Eva Longoria as a bridesmaid. Earlier this week, the American hunk made headlines after becoming the sole host on “The X Factor” as Khloe Kardashian seems to have gotten the boot.
To announce the baby news, Mario Lopez and his family appeared on Extra! at the Grove, where his little daughter Gia Francesca showed off a shirt that read “Big Sister Gia.”

Mario Lopez said in a statement on his Tuesday’s show, “I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives.”
The former Saved By The Bell actor admitted that he is keen to keep the second baby's gender a surprise whilst Courtney wants to find out.
