Matt Bomer has just landed the cover of Details magazine’s May 2014 issue, which hits newsstands on April 25. The handsome actor, who came out as gay in February of 2012, looked sexy as usual on the front page shot by John Balsom. After striking for poses for the publication, Matt Bomer had a candid interview with the mag, in which he opened up about his role in Ryan Murphy's TV movie adaptation of “The Normal Heart.” In the movie, the “Blue Collar” star plays a gay man dying of AIDS during the early days of the epidemic. He had to lose a shocking 40 pounds for the role with the help of doctors as well as a 14-day alkalized-water, juice, tea and enzyme cleanse. Matt Bomer also sought advice from Matthew McConaughey, who famously lost almost 50 pounds for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club.” Besides, the “White Collar” actor revealed that he secretly got married with his boyfriend Simon Halls three years ago. He said that he and his husband tied the knot one year before coming out publicly. "I wouldn't have a lot of the rights I have today if it wasn't for people like Larry," Matt Bomer told the magazine.
