Dexter stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are a married couple no more. According to court documents, the couple completed the divorce after living together nearly two years on Friday, the 2nd December 2011 in Los Angeles. Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter tied the knot in December 2008. They separated in August 2010 and announced their divorce in December 2010. Carpenter then filed for divorce shortly after citing irreconcilable differences. The pair of Michael C. Hall, 40, and Jennifer Carpenter, 31, are fortunate in that they did not have any children together.
Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter play brother and sister Dexter and Debra Morgan on the television drama series “Dexter”. Hall takes the role of Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who targets other murderers, while, Carpenter stars Hall's sister, a Miami police detective, who investigates into her brother’s victims, but doesn’t know he is a killer. It is awkward that the couple still work together on the film after their divorce.
Although Jennifer Carpenter’s marriage with Michael C. Hall is over, the actress still has special feelings for her ex-husband. Jennifer shared that Michael Hall is always one of her best friends in the world. For her, the marriage ended doesn’t mean the love isn’t still there. "We take very good care of each other and our cast -- we always have -- and I'm just really lucky," Jennifer added.
