Following footstep of Justin Timberlake and Kristin Cavallari, Hollywood glamour and film star Mila Kunis attends the annual Marine Corps Ball in tiny Greenville, North Carolina on 18 November 2011. The Black Swan star took a break from red carpet and carried out promise with a YouTube invitation from Sgt. Scott Moore to be his date last summer. Mila Kunis arrived at the Pitt-Greenville Airport in Greenville, N.C around 2:30 p.m. local time on Friday and quickly moved to the Greenville Convention Center. The Golden Globe-nominated actress was greeted by her date Sergeant Scott Moore who just recently returned to the U.S. from seven months of service in Afghanistan.
No press and media were allowed inside the Ball which marked 236 years of military history; however, Marine spokesperson Capt. Scott Sasser insisted that Kunis and Sgt. Moore were both “enjoying the night.” He also said, “She’s going to get a chance to learn about the Marine Corps and were all going to have a great time celebrating the Marine Corps birthday.”

Wow I have to say I have a new found level of respect for both Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis for attending these events. As a Marine I know how much this meant to the sailor and the Marine. I kinda think Mila should have gone with a grunt instead of a technician (just kidding) sorta. I have to say these two stars have done a really good thing that they didn't have to do. I am deeply impressed and deeply grateful. I found this link looking for old friends of mine that I served with. A Marine and my best friend died suddenly this weekend. and I know it sounds goofy but reading about this was the first time I have smiled. To Brian my best friend and brother for over 20 yrs a Marine, now a Special Agent with ICE I will miss you every day for the rest of my life and I promise you we will take care of Jenny and your son Frank. They will want for nothing as long as I am alive. Love you. Bless you both for doing this. You are great people. John
