Miss New York Mallory Hagan took home the crown during the 92nd annual Miss America Pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night (January 12, 2013). The 23-year-old brunette beauty defeated 52 other notable contestants to win the title of Miss America, including first runner-up Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers and third place winner Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton. During the Las Vegas beauty pageant, Mallory Hagan, a Fashion Institute of Technology student from Brooklyn, competed in swimsuit, evening wear, talent and interview competitions. The Brooklyn native was crowned by Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler at the annual show hosted by Brooke Burke-Charvet and Chris Harrison. Mallory Hagan’s title as Miss America 2013 gives her a $50,000 college scholarship and the sparkler-packed crown for one year. She is also expected to to go on a nationwide speaking tour and raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, the organization's official charity.

Mallory Hagan looks hot in her swimsuit at the ceremony, where she has to impress a star-studded panel of judges including Cheryl Burke, McKayla Maroney, Katie Stam Irk, Mary Hart, Daymond John, Sam Champion and Bradley Bayou.
The tap dancing 23-year-old from Brooklyn, who is currently studying Advertising, Marketing and Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, competes in the evening gown competition for the ultimate Miss America title and crown, and a $50,000 scholarship.
