The list of Google’s 50 most searched celebrities 2011 has been released by the world’s biggest search engine based on the number of search request these famous people have.

In addition to singers, actors, actresses, models, TV personalities and socialites, this year’s list includes female politicians like Sarah Palin (No. 25) and Hilary Clinton (No. 45) as well as the first lady of the US, Michelle Obama (No. 43).

Two surprising things of the list come from Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber, the only man to climb the top ten, and Kim Kardashian, the only socialite and reality TV star to be named in the top ten. Justin Bieber’s girlfriendSelena Gomez is spotted No. 14.

“Till The World Ends” star Britney Spears receives 277,000,000 requests

Singer Katy Perry, who constantly appears on the front page of many famous magazines including Vanity Fair and Billboard, gets 263,000,000 requests

The Columbian singer Shakira has 239,000,000 requests on Google
