During the week from June 6 to 12, 2011, there were pieces of outstanding news attracting worldwide attention.

One of them was information about the twin bombings hitting a market in Peshawar, Pakistan that killed at least 34 victims and injured 90 others with some twenty in a serious condition. According to the local authorities, the multiple explosions happened just after midnight in an area housing political offices and the army.

Since the al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was killed in a US commando raid last month, the number of attacks in the country has increased considerably, leading to more death-tolls.
