The shocking factors of those movies varied from violence to sex and religion. All of them caused riots, public scandals, threatening and death.


The Italian horror film “Cannibal Hollocaust” released in 1980 tells the story of a group of documentarians who attempted to produce a film about the last surviving cannibal tribes in the Amazonian Jungle. Grossing $200,000 worldwide at the Box Office, but this film used to be banned in several countries for years because authorities believed that the story was actually true and the actors had really died.
