Early July, government officials of Hulli County were criticized by Chinese netizens because of the “too fake” picture. North Korea news service KNCA released a picture of severe flood near Taedong River in July. However it was identified as a doctored photo. We can recognize easily that clothes of people in this image were not wet at all. The Associated Press (AP) said “The content of this image has been digitally altered and does not accurately reflect the scene." Some experts even said that North Korea exaggerated the effects of the flood to draw foreign aids.
