Yves Rossy born on 27 August 1959 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is a pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast. He is commonly called Jet Man or Fusion Man as he is the first person to fly by using a jet-powered wing in the world. Rossy's flight events always attract the attention of numerous media and the curious people. He is not afraid of introducing to everyone about his unique product which has been developed and built-in consisting of 2.4-meter-long wings equipped with four jet engines. It was reported that he first flied with this special wing on July 11th, 2006 in Bex. Then after successfully flying across the English Channel on September 26th, 2008, he conducted a flight through the Alps in late 2008. On May 11th, 2009, Rossy tried to fly across the Strait of Gibraltar and became the first person to fly across two continents by using this particular type of wings.
